Hi, I’m Vafa Anderson, The Muzungu.
I still struggle to answer one simple question I have been asked my whole life. ‘Where are you from?’ Well, I was born in Canada, grew up in Rwanda and currently living and working as an ICT instructor in China.
The world is an amazing place and I have witnessed the benefits and downfalls of globalization. This led me to purse a degree majoring in Economics with focus in economic development and other various environmental topics.
Currently, I am finishing a MSc in Integrated Environmental Management from the University of Bath, looking to apply my skills in renewable energy or other related fields.
I feel my experiences have transformed me into a mosaic of diverse cultures which have shaped and defined who I’ve become. I feel at home wherever I go, I am a world citizen.
